1 out of 4, talk about shitty picks :p

    Nashville over Ducks
    Pens over Ottawa

The Montreal GM is already getting shit from fans for trading Subban, won't help if Nashville reaches the final.

    Thanks for jinxing Washington!

And the best goalie, and likely Vezina winner, Braden Holtby, is now eliminated. Best goalie left, imo is Gibson, but Rinne is the highest paid. Anderson is good but not great. Fleury is terrible and somehow keeps getting his team to the finals. I'm predicting Anaheim/Pittsburgh. And I want Anaheim to win. I hate Crosby more than I hate LeBron.

its obviously going to be Nashville/Ottawa

I had hoped the Oilers would win because I felt they had a chance to beat Nashville, but Anaheim certainly doesn't, especially not with Rinne being as hot as he is. I don't have any real argument for why Ottawa could win other than maybe Pittsburgh's injuries/Fluery catch up to them.

but its going to be Nashville/Ottawa

I want Nashville to win the Stanley Cup and PK Subban have the winning goal because Montreal.

I'm greatly happy with this result. I have liked Nashville since they entered the league. I just don't trust they can hang on. For no other reason than they play the CRAP out of Rinne. He plays what, an average of 65 games a year? The guy is a horse, but this is usually his breaking point. Not to mention he's what... 34 now? Something like that anyway. Rask is 30 and can't handle 55 games a year without breaking down. Rinne has played significantly more, and breaks down because Nashville doesn't get him a backup. That's why I get so pissed with the Bruins' yearly offseason discussion of: "One of the key positions to address is backup goalie. Gotta have a good backup for Rask." Every offseason that's the narrative, to the point of throwing 3 million for two years at Khudobin last year...

For the record, since Rinne became a starter in 08-09, his games played:

    08-09: 52
    09-10: 58
    10-11: 64
    11-12: 73
    12-13: 43
    13-14: 24
    14-15: 64
    15-16: 66
    16-17: 61

In 2013 he had a hip injury, surgery and an infection as a result and missed a good portion of the next season as well. An average of 56 games per year. Take out his two injury riddled seasons and it is an average of 63 games per season, so I was close. That's a lot of mileage on a 34 year old's body for that position.

Well for all I care, he can explode after the SCF if they win.

they took one in Anaheim, they're not losing at home with the "league's best fans" so Rinne/Nashville will be fine

Go Nashville! Don't let the Pens win another one.

*team you don't like makes it to the Finals*
*they're up against the defending champions that nobody likes which feature a star nobody likes so everybody will be rooting for the team you don't like*
this is my least favorite SC Final since probably 2003

Weeeeee, this series is fun! Rinne was awesome last night and Crosby almost single handedly pulled another win out of his butt.

At least we get one more game in Nashville because those are awesome. Tremendous energy. The best. The chants are actually funny.

I want Nashville to win game 5 just for the possibility of Nashville winning at home. They might burn down the stadium and city and no one will care.

That's not true. Jason Aldean will care.
